Pupils bring book to life!
Wow, talk about a Rainbow Trout! This gorgeous picture is now on the front cover of the book. It was done by Megan Schofield (age 10) of Timmy’s local school, Kettlewell Primary.
How many of the other characters can you spot in her drawing? You can leave a comment about Megan’s picture below and I’ll forward it on to her.
The back cover of the book features a fabby synopsis by Alex Marquez (age 9), also from Kettlewell Primary. I couldn’t have put it better myself…
so I didn’t!

Hi Ian
i am half way through reading your book, and so far, it rocks! Thank you for choosing my blurb, I am really happy about it! I never knew you would use it as it was, I did it in crayon, see, but I’m really chuffed. I also love Megans’ beautiful and colorful picture, it looks so cool when he’s jumping! Thank you also for the t-shirt….I can’t stop wearing it!!!! Thankyou again,
alex

Dear Megan
I wanted to let you know that I thought the drawing that you did of Timmy The Trout is brilliant. The colours you chose are vibrant and cheerful and it makes a really nice graphic for a T-shirt as well as a great cover for the book. You are obviously very talented and creative and I hope you continue to draw lots in the future. Well done.

Hi Megan,
Wow! What a fab painting you have done for the front cover of Timmy the Trout. As a fellow artist I think that you have a great use of colour and ideas, a very talented young lady you are. Keep up the good work!
